“Religion and Politics in the Middle East: What in the World is Going on…and Why”
by Charles Kimball, Professor of Religious Studies, University of Oklahoma. Dramatic and major upheavals elicit both signs of hope and causes for deep concern in various countries in the midst of revolutionary changes, civil war, and ongoing conflicts. The presentation endeavors to provide a framework for understanding what is going on, why, and how concerned people of faith and goodwill can contribute constructively toward a more hopeful and healthy future.
