As a church we want to carry forward the legacy of our beloved Pastor Stacey Simpson Duke who left us this time last year. She was a force in the pulpit, in her prayers, and in action, fighting for social justice and working tirelessly to dismantle oppressive systems and take care of the most vulnerable. Join us on Tuesday, February 27th for a gathering to read and listen to her powerful sermons and prayers and to reflect on how we can live out her vision in our church community. The Gathering will be led by Xan Morgan at Robbie and Bill Stapleton’s house (528 Sunset Road, Ann Arbor) from 7:00-9:00p. You are welcome to bring a salty or sweet treat to share if you’d like.
