Join us for our Good Friday service of Tenebrae (which means “shadows” or “darkness”). We will sit together in the gathering darkness and ponder the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus. After we have listened to the Passion story, we will reflect in silence for a few moments. Then one person will sing the first line of “Were You There?” and the rest of us will join in for one verse of that hymn. We will sit in the silence for another moment, and then be dismissed with a benediction. Following the dismissal, you are welcome to sit in the silent darkness for as long as you wish.
