Join us for Poetry & Faith led by Rolf Bouma! We will talk about poems that inspire us and think about how and why they do and what they have to do with faith. Participants will be invited to share poems that are meaningful to them and we may challenge one another to memorize, draw, doodle, put music to, or otherwise engage the poems that touch us. As American poet Charles Wright wrote, “…without poetry there’s just talk. Talk is cheap and proves nothing. Poetry is dear and difficult to come by. But it poles us across the river and puts music in our ears.”
