DESCRIPTION:Program:\nPieces from Book One of Harpsichord Pieces by François Couperin (1668-1733)\nToccata No. 2 in D minor by Johann Jakob Froberger (1616-1667)\nPavan and Galliard “Passamezzo” by William Byrd (1543-1623)\nMovements from Suite #3 in D minor by Jean-Henri D’Anglebert (1626-1691) \nEdward Parmentier taught harpsichord and early music ensembles and courses at the University of Michigan for 38 years. He has performed throughout the United States and in Russia\, Europe\, Japan and Korea. He made a dozen CDs on harpsichord. At the University of Michigan\, he also taught annual summer harpsichord workshops. His harpsichord teachers were Albert Fuller and Gustav Leonhardt.
