Our candlelight "Festival of Lessons and Carols" on Christmas Eve is a treasured holiday tradition at First Baptist. Patterned on the traditional service at King's College Chapel, Cambridge, the service has been presented annually since 1969.
Sanctuary Choir

Music has always had a special place in our worship service. Each Sunday, the music helps to ease the burdens we bring with us and focus our minds on the elements of our worship; it opens the doors of our souls and brings us closer to God. While most of our music is drawn from the classical traditions, we celebrate the diversity of music with excursions into other styles.
Our music program is professionally
Ever found yourself humming along with the Sanctuary Choir on a Sunday morning? Whether you have or not, now is your chance to join the Sanctuary Choir. An ability to read music is helpful, (but not necessary), and a love of singing, good fellowship and a sense of humor are essential. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 pm and on Sunday mornings before services beginning at 9:15 am. Childcare is provided during rehearsals.
