Adult Christian Education

After Worship and Fellowship Time and starting at 11:30 (until 12:30), one or more classes are offered for adults each Sunday morning.  The topics and format of the classes varies and changes throughout the year.  Recent classes have explored Celtic Christianity, religious responses to facilitate peace in the Middle East, a “Jesus Class” exploring the life, message and culture of Christ, and a small group Lenten study.  Please click on the link at the left to find out about our current class(es).

Children and Youth Christian Education

All children are welcome to worship with their families.  After the Time as Children portion of the worship service, young preschoolers may go to the nursery for childcare.  Children age 4-3rd grade are invited to Children’s Worship.   Church School classes and Music Ministry for children and Youth begin after worship (about 11:00).  The schedule for each class varies.  Please click on the link at the left to see our current class formats and schedule.

Wednesday Bible Study

Meeting each Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 (until 2:30).  Beginning with a pot-luck lunch on September 16, Ron Tipton will lead the Fall session with a study on 1Corinthians.

Christ Care Small Groups

Centered on Bible study, fellowship, mission, prayer and worship, we currently have two groups: one which meets monthly and the other which meets every other week.  See Stacey, Paul or Sue Ellen for more information about joining a group.

Morikawa Lectures

The Morikawa Lectures, established in Jitsuo Morikawa’s memory, bring significant voices to the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor community to address questions of ethics and values, and the application of Christian principles within private and public organizations.

Events Throughout the Christian Year

Join us for a wide range of activities during the Christian calendar, including Lessons & Carols at Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday and Tenebrae services, Children & Youth Worship, and many more.  Many of these events will be posted on the home page of this website.
